Kenya’s national language is Kinyarwanda, the language spoken in northern parts of the country.
Now the first-person-first language app called Kinya, created by the Kenyans National Language Board, is being downloaded by almost 1.2 million people in the country and the app has more than 50,000 users.
Kinyas app is also available in over 30 languages.
The app has also created buzz around its innovative way of teaching people to speak the language.
The app uses a variety of audio-visual and interactive elements to help people learn Kinyan, and uses a mobile camera to record each language spoken by users.
“I think it is a very unique concept,” Kinyawanda University Professor, John Pohore told ABC News.
This is the first language app that’s been designed from the ground up by Kenyas team, and that has been designed in such a way that it has the capability to actually help people who are in a language that they don’t speak.
But, Pohores says, there are some drawbacks to this approach.
We do have some challenges that we think will come up when we try to get this to be successful.
It is really important that it is very easy for learners to understand, because you want learners to be able to understand it.
“We think that with the technology that we have, we are trying to do a great job with learning language, and this is an effort to help with that,” PohORE said.
According to the app’s website, the app uses audio-tracking technology to record and share the spoken language with the public.
It also includes a vocabulary list that provides users with a “complete vocabulary list” of over 300 words that describe each language.
The app, which has received over 1.5 million downloads since its launch in December, is now available in more than 30 languages and Pohors website has received more than 2,000 feedbacks from users.
According to Pohor, the team was also working to develop more interactive features to improve the experience for users.
“So it is important that we do get feedback from learners, and if we are going to be a success we need to be really innovative in that area,” he said.
“We also need to get feedback on the language learning and the language comprehension, because this is a language-learning app, so it is really vital that we get feedback that we can use in order to improve,” he added.
